KINGSTON, Jamaica – THE QUICK WHISPERER has chosen four horses for special wagering consideration on the 10-race programme of Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Caymanas Park.
The horses chosen are SHASHAMANI DANCE, ASURETY, EXPLOSIVE CHARGE, and MORSE CODE.
SHASHAMANI DANCE races in the first race, which is a five-year-old and upwards maiden contest over 4 ½ furlongs. This six-year-old mare slowed a glimpse of form in her last two runs when finishing fifth and third. The race is an open one, with trainer Linton Calder putting the tongue tie on. With recent form plus the tongue tie on, it would be prudent to place SHASHAMANI DANCE in the Exacta, Trifecta, and Superfecta wagers. One of two-win tickets might provide some extra cash.
ASURETY faces the starter in the second event, which is a three-year-old maiden event at six furlongs. ASURETY has two races under his girth and in his second outing was slowly out of the box and was charging in the final furlong to finish third behind Brompton Alex and Prince Sanjay. Now with an extra furlong to go, ASURETY, who has continued his progress at exercise has a live shot of winning. Wager ASURETY to win, and in the Exacta and Trifecta.
EXPLOSIVE CHARGE races in the fifth event which is a five-year-old and upwards claimer for a price of $180,000 - $150,000, over four furlongs. The added condition of this race is that it is for horses who have not won since October 1, 2021. EXPLOSIVE CHARGE has been consistent for a while now with his second-place effort behind Chief of State just nine days ago holding him in good stead. In addition, EXPLOSIVE CHARGE is drawn widest of all coming down the straight, which is always an advantage. Buy EXPLOSIVE CHARGE to win, and in the Exacta wager.
MORSE CODE races in the sixth, which is a four-year-old and upwards (non-winners of two) call travelling four furlongs. In this quick straight dash, MORSE CODE is drawn in the middle of the pack in what is his fourth attempt in this grade. This chestnut gelding has speed and having gained adequate experience is going to run well. Put MORSE CODE in the Exacta and the Trifecta bets.
