Pure Heart, Blue Vinyl, Chandra’s Law, Heart of a Lion
KINGSTON, Jamaica – THE QUICK WHISPERER has identified four horses to watch on the race card of Saturday, February 19, 2022.
The four horses chosen for special attention are PURE HEART, BLUE VINYL, CHANDRA’S LAW, and HEART OF A LION.
PURE HEART races in the fifth race, which is a three-year-old and upwards Claiming ($250,000 - $200,000), event for horses who have not earned $150,000 since October of 2021. The distance is six furlongs.
PURE HEART did not do anything special when last at the races (Feb 5, 2022), and, while not expected to win, is given horse-to-watch status for the Trifecta, Superfecta, and Hi-5 wagers.
BLUE VINYL races in the seventh, which is a three-year-old maiden special weight contest at 6 ½ furlongs.
BLUE VINYL (Bern Identity – Blufield), trained by Patrick Lynch made his debut over five furlongs straight and did well to finish fourth behind Brompton Alex, Prince Sanjay, and Asurety.
BLUE VINYL was seen running on in the final furlong, which is an indication that this chestnut colt will be at easy-going 6 ½ furlongs. Watch BLUE VINYL closely, and expect odds of about 5-2. Apart from the exotic wagers, please place some win tickets on BLUE VINYL.
CHANDRA’S LAW races in the ninth, which is a four-year-old and upwards (non-winners of three) call at 5 ½ furlongs.
Much was expected from CHANDRA’S LAW but her career has been dogged by injuries but THE QUICK WHISPERER has been watching this filly closely and the belief is that she will put in a better effort tomorrow.
She finished sixth in her last race, which signalled a return of sorts to form and cannot be left out of the reckoning. Try CHANDRA’S LAW in the exacta, quinella, and trifecta bets.
HEART OF A LION races in the nightcap, which is a four-year-old and upwards (non-winners of two) travelling 7 ½ furlongs.
HEART OF A LION tried his luck going nine furlongs and 25 yards and did well to finish sixth – four lengths behind Heavenly Glitter. With that distance trial now in his armoury, 7 ½ furlongs should pose no issue for HEART OF A LION.
