KINGSTON, Jamaica – After plying his trade in North America for some time trainer Alfred McIntosh was able to secure his first win in Jamaica when Awesome Aviator romped a Maiden Special Weight for three-year-olds run over six furlongs a short while ago at Caymanas Park.
Ridden by Dane Nelson, Awesome Aviator was quickly away from the number one draw and after taking the lead for a short while was backed out of it by his rider as Glitter River churned the splits on the headlines.
In the straight Awesome Aviator (Casual Trick – Royal Victress) hugging the inside rails simply pulled away to score by 6 ½ lengths.
Second went to Glitter River with Sea Cruise third.
