KINGSTON, Jamaica – In another scintillating performance Big Jule decimated the non-winners of four level to win the Caymanas Sunday seventh.
Under the guidance of trainer Ian Pasrad, with Omar Walker holding the reins, Big Jule went to the lead in the one mile event and although pressed for about 3 ½ furlongs by Bern Notice (Tevin Foster), Big Jule never wavered and when asked to increase tempo did so with minimum ease and use of energy.
In the stretch run, Walker just kept Big Jule up to his strolling pattern winning in a time of 1:37.4.
Santorini (Linton Steadman) finished second with Bern Notice third.
This was the second winner on the day for Walker.
