With Oneil Mullings again in the irons, Casual Affair raced in mid-pack throughout before making his move inside the final furlong, and in a fierce duel was able to get the better of 3-4 favourite Peking Cruz (Oshane Nugent) by a head. Special Counsel (Anthony Thomas) finished third.
