KINGSTON, Jamaica – Super Duper, returning to competitive racing after a break of 161 days, demonstrated that when fit and ready, he has more than useful ability with a 5-1 win in the Caymanas Saturday fifth – a 3 and 4-year-old non-winners of four event.

Racing over the five straight course, jockey Anthony Thomas quickly got Super Duper out of the number seven barrier and immediately angled towards the favoured outside rails.

The action after that move by Thomas was confined to the outside as Hoist The Mast (Tevin Foster) and 1-5 favourite Secret Identity (Javaniel Patterson) raced behind Super Duper, who was still setting the splits.

After crossing over to the main track Super Duper trained by Jason DaCosta increased the tempo pulling away in the end to win by two lengths.

Hoist The Mast finished second and Secret Identity third.

This was the third career victory for Super Duper from six starts and she was the second winner on the day for both DaCosta and Thomas.
