KINGSTON, Jamaica – Six-time champion jockey Omar Walker continued his recent good form when he won the second race a short while ago on the 12-race programme at Caymanas Park.
In a $450-400 Optional Claiming event run over four furlongs straight, Walker piloted the Welsh Soutar trainer Papa Albert to an easy win. Prince Sammo was second with Strikinglygorgeous after third by the post -Super Glitterman was disqualified and placed fourth.
Walker has now ridden 16 winners for the 2019 season and is one win ahead of apprentice Christopher Mamdeen.
