KINGSTON, Jamaica – The field of possible starters in the 9 ½ furlong Jamaica Cup on Saturday next (November 13) at Caymanas Park is coming into place. The total purse on offer in the Jamaica Cup is $6 million.
Of note after the latest round entry taking last Saturday (Nov 6) is that the first two horses, Roy Rogers and Hover Craft on the also eligible list have now reached the final 12 list.
The Jamaica Cup being a race over nine furlongs and 25 yards, only 12 starting stalls are available for runners.
The final process for nominations to be taken, jockeys announced and post positions assigned will be done tomorrow (Tuesday, November 9), after which the Overnight programme will be made available.
