KINGSTON, Jamaica – Step In Faith (Jordan Barrett) kept on the inside rails coming down the five straight course to notch her second career win in the Caymanas Saturday fifth.
Step In Faith trained by Anthony Subratie was victorious in a four-year-old and upwards (non-winners of two) call.
It was a two-way contest after the starter let the nine horses in the field go, as Step In Faith and Jon P (Richard Henry) disputed for the right to be called leader.
After the horses crossed over to the main track, it was all Step In Faith, who went on to win by 4 ½ lengths.
Queen Deftiny ran on for second place with Jon P third.
