The ‘Fault Line’ breaks in Caymanas Tuesday eighth

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Fault Line had to overcome a horrendous break from his starting stall to win the Caymanas Tuesday eighth – the Heroes Day Stakes Trophy run over seven furlongs.

In this event confined to maiden three-year-olds, it was Slamsilano (Romario Spencer) who went to the lead without much fuss. At this time, Fault Line trained by Phillip Feanny with apprentice Shane Richardson on board was way behind the leader.

Slamsilano galloping purposefully entered the home stretch for the last two furlongs with a clear advantage with Fault Line in the second to last position.

Then the eruption took place as Fault Line and Richardson weaved their way through a crowded bunch to eventually find themselves on the inside rails and then found a lot extra to nab Slamsilano on the line by a neck.

The Trojanwarrior (Kiaman McGregor) finished third.
