KINGSTON, Jamaica - Champion two-year-old of last year Further and Beyond returns, this time out of his age group, to contest a three-year-old and upwards Overnight Allowance event over 7 ½ furlongs (1,500m) tomorrow (Monday, September 27 2021.
Below is the analysis of the runners.

1. FEARLESS CHAMPION: (4 rn c by Fearless Vision – Granville Greta) – In his first race at this level on September 15 going nine furlongs and 25 yards (1,820m), Fearless Champion finished in ninth place - 18 ¾ lengths behind Money Monster. Fearless Champion is now expected to run a better race and probably has a chance of hitting the board.

  1. ROY ROGERS: (5 gr g by Distorted – Soca Party) - Always a dangerous opponent at this level. Roy Rogers tried to steal a march on September 15 but was outstayed by Money Monster going 9 furlongs and 25 yards. Roy Rogers will relish the trip but will have to dig in deep if he is to win here. If Roy Rogers can lead comfortably, he has enough depth and strength to win.
  1. PRIMAL FEAR: (4 b g by American Dance – Hishi Blossom) – Did well to reach this level on the backend of two consecutive wins. Primal Fear is not expected to be a factor as he begins the learning process in this grade.
  1. GAMBLER: (4 b f by Freedom for Jante – Kennisha) – Although on the improve, Gambler needs time as this is his first attempt in Overnight.
  2. FURTHER AND BEYOND: (3 ch c by Blue Pepsi Lodge – Rumble) – The champion two-year-old from last season, Further and Beyond ran well in defeat in the recent Jamaica Derby where he finished third behind Calculus and Billy Whizz over 12 furlongs (2,400m). Further and Beyond has been given a long rest and starts a new chapter in his career as he is now racing against older horses. The distance of 7 ½ furlongs is perfect for Further and Beyond and he should find these runners more than manageable.
  3. JAMAI RAJA: (8 ch g by Market Rally – Angela’s Favorite) – Is going to be left behind but can be a race influencer. Jamai Raja knows only one way to run and that is on the lead, and, if he can settle in front then he has a chance although minute of winning.
  1. UNCLE FRANK: (7 dkb g by Storm Craft – Dusty Milly) – Cannot get a winning vote.
  1. EXCESSIVE FORCE (USA): (4 ch c by Broken Vow – Fevered Kiss) – Excessive Force is coming off a long break during which his trainer must have worked on the niggling problem he has of not being able to make proper turns. Yet, this consistent sort has raced eight times this season holding two wins, three seconds and, two-thirds. Excessive Force runs well when fresh and from this convenient mark is going to have a live shot especially with the journey to his liking.
  2. HEIROFIRE: (5 b m by Storm Craft – Thisgirlisonfire) - Can be safely bypassed.
