KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was as easy as can be for Nuclear Emma in the Caymanas Saturday third.

Racing in a three-year-old and upwards Optional Claimer ($350,000 - $300,000) going seven and a half furlongs, Nuclear Emma (Paul ‘Country’ Francis) was the first to show but was quickly headed by Storming (Tevin Foster). No sooner had Storming assumed the advantage, In The Blood (Omar Walker), after breaking slowly pounced on the outside, to take over on the front end.

Francis watching closely started to chase in earnest with three furlongs left in the race.

In the straight, Nuclear Emma skittered away from rivals to win by all of 12 lengths. Second was Trickster (Chalrick Budhai) with the third slot being occupied by In The Blood.

Nuclear Emma was winning her third race from 19 starts.
