KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jockey Anthony Thomas earned his second winner on the day, JamalJames, at odds of 4-5 in the Caymanas Monday fifth.
Thomas did not have much to do on the Gregory Forsyth trainee going five furlongs round in a claiming ($250,000 - $200,000) contest.
It was Abigail Able on Christilano who set the early fractions tracked by JamalJames. The two entered the straight in front of rivals but with a furlong and a half to go, JamalJames and Thomas took over to the winning post.
General Mubaraak (Shane Ellis) got second place with Boss Izzy (Oshane Nugent) third.
