KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was a romp for the Patrick Fong trained, Matthew Bennett ridden As You Wish in the Caymanas Monday fourth.
As You Wish, at odds of 3-2 was kept off the early pace as Comandante Lunar blazed the trail in the nine furlongs and 25 yards contest for four-year-olds and upwards (non-winners of two).
Bennett watched the proceedings on Ash You Wish and made his move with three furlongs to go, circling by Comandante Lunar and then was left unchallenged in the straight winning by the huge margin of 14 ½ lengths.
Second went to Sweet Reneisha (Phillip Parchment) with Dorthebutcher third to give trainer Fong a first and third result.
