KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was as easy as one – two – three for Princess Statistic in the Caymanas Saturday (July 17) first.
Racing for the 77th time, Princess Statistic guided by Andre Powell for her favourite conditioner Ian Alexander, was successful in a five-year-old and upwards claiming ($180,000 - $150,000) event at five furlongs round.
Powell quickly showed his intentions, as when the gates opened, he pushed Princess Statistic starting at odds of even money from the outside draw and dominated rivals to the winning post, getting home by three lengths.
Second was Lady Budget (Chris Mamdeen) with Treasure Train (Anthony Thomas) third.
Both Powell and Alexander achieved their second winner of the season with Princess Statistic winning for the sixth time in her career.
