KINGSTON, Jamaica – It’s A Boy, a three-year-old bay colt by Bern Identity – Wonder Girl, on his fourth attempt went home a winner in the six-furlong Caymanas Saturday ninth.

That event was a Restricted Allowance for three-year-old maidens, which saw jockey Phillip Parchment pushing It’s A Boy trained by Jason DaCosta to the lead from the wide outside when the gates opened.

It’s A Boy then succumbed the initiative to Bridal Blush (Dick Cardenas), with the latter entering the lane with the advantage and It’s A Boy on the outside. Parchment is typical rambunctious fashion switched It’s A Boy to the inside and in a pulsating finish got up on the line for the victory by a nose.

Bridal Blush was second and 1-2 on favourite Buff Bay third.
