KINGSTON, Jamaica – After passing the post in first place approximately three years ago but was later disqualified, Riddim Up decided it was time to discard the burden of being a maiden in the Caymanas Saturday fourth.

With joint champion and current leader Anthony Thomas in the saddle, Riddim Up did not have to do much in winning a five-year-old maiden call at five furlongs straight.

Thomas gradually moved Riddim Up from mid-track to the outside rails and with two furlongs left to go skittered away from rivals winning by six lengths.

Second was King Livity (Chris Mamdeen) with the Final Blue (Dane Nelson) finishing third.
