KINGSTON, Jamaica – Making use of the outside draw, It’s A Rap, coming down in class, won his third race from 32 career starts in the Caymanas Saturday third.

The Caymanas Saturday third was competed for over four furlongs, among five-year-old and upwards claimers ($180,000 - $150,000).

It’s A Rap with Roger Hewitt in the saddle for trainer Greg Forsyth, raced prominently throughout while staying on the outside rails as Smokescreen (Dane Nelson) led the field of runners.

When they reach the racetrack proper, it was still Smokescreen with the advantage, but Hewitt got It’s A Rap going and quickly dealt with Smokescreen. But Hewitt had to find some more as Lady Budget (Chris Mamdeen) came running on.

At the wire it was It’s A Rap by a length in front of Lady Budget with Smokescreen third.

This was win number 13 this season for trainer Forsyth.
