KINGSTON, Jamaica – Judiciously ridden by jockey Tevin Foster, Top Shelf registered her sixth career win from 44 starts in the Caymanas Saturday second.

Foster had to dig deep on Top Shelf trained by Ryan Darby in the five-year-old and upwards Claimer ($180,000 - $150,000) to get home as Beach Boy (Shane Ellis) nagged all throughout the contest.

It was Beach Boy who set the early fractions with Top Self settled in the fourth spot.

In the stretch drive it was a stirring battle between the two, with the bang-in-touch Ellis giving no quarter away, but Foster displayed great composure and was able to get Top Shelf to wear down Beach Boy winning by a head. Loose Ball (Roger Hewitt) was third.
