KINGSTON, Jamaica – No Identity recorded his second win from 12 career starts with a good effort in the Caymanas Saturday second.
This second victory for the Fitzroy Glispie trainee with Phillip Parchment in the saddle came in a four-year-old and upwards non-winners of two contest travelling a mile.
The early pace was dictated by Gambler (Ramon Nepare) who carried the other six starters to the half mile pole with Duke of Springs (Shane Ellis) and No Identity close by.
Gambler went on as Duke of Springs and No Identity were forever trading places behind.
When they entered the last two furlongs, Gambler was still on the lead but now No Idenitity was coming sharply on the outside as Duke of Springs floundered.
Quickly, No Identity grabbed the lead and that was the end for the rest.
Gambler held for second with As You Wish (Matthew Bennett) third.
Of note, this was the first win for Parchment since winning the 2020 Derby aboard King Arthur in October.
