KINGSTON, Jamaica – Enrapture entered the winners’ enclosure for the first occasion on her third start with an emphatic victory in a three-year-old maiden contest which was the Caymanas Monday sixth.
Racing under the care of the bang in form Gary Subratie with Dane Dawkins holding the reins, Enrapture clocked 1:37.1 for seven and a half furlongs winning by a comfortable two lengths.
With Racing Secretary Denzil Miller doing the starting duty, it was Mine That Cat (Dane Nelson) who set off in front followed by King Antholew (Javaniel Patterson) and Enrapture.
It was King Antholew running his best race to date who entered the lane for the last two furlongs in front but was quickly passed by Enrapture who held her galloped well.
Artesia (Bebeto Harvey) plugged away in the final furlong to get second over King Antholew.
