KINGSTON, Jamaica – Bettors got some relief after the 48-1 shot Madam Secretary won the second race as JamalJames racing on a $450,000 tag easily took the day’s third race – a claiming event for three-year-olds and up going over five furlongs straight.
Owned, trained and bred by Fitzroy Glispie was claimed after winning by 2 ½ lengths. Second went to 81-1 outsider Forest Rose with 5-1 chance Papa Albert third.
Stanislaus bolted at the start of the race with his jockey Shane Ellis falling off.
