KINGSTON, Jamaica – Commissioner with Dane Nelson riding for trainer Rowan Mathie, was a runaway winner of the Caymanas Saturday fourth contested over five furlongs straight.
From the time the gates opened it was obvious that Nelson was just waiting to strike and when he did after entering the main it was lights out for the rest.
Commissioner won for the first time by six lengths. Queen Deftiny (Natalie Berger) was second and Take Two (Oshane Nugent) third.
Commissioner won at odds of 1-5.
