The connections of Also Correct after passing the post over five lengths ahead of Party Princess and Bigman Union had to survive a stewards’ inquiry plus an objection lodged by second place jockey Shane Ellis. The objection was over-ruled in the end.
The race, a $180 -150,000 claiming event run over seven furlongs saw Also Correct going off at odds of 2-5, making it two odds on winners in the two races run thus far on the mid-week card.
