KINGSTON, Jamaica – In a bold front running effort Rohan Kabir benefitted from his all-round consistency to win the Caymanas Saturday first moments ago at odds of 6-1.

Trained by Junior Small and ridden by Bebeto Harvey, Rohan Kabir was successful in a three-year-old and upwards Claiming ($1 million - $800,000) contest at 7 ½ furlongs.

After a furlong and a half were completed, Harvey pushed the five-year-old chestnut gelding to the front and despite several challengers coming on the scene, Rohan Kabir held firm throughout  to win by 1 ¾ lengths.

Second was Uncle Vinnie (Matthew Bennett) at odds of 2-1 with third going to Purple Wayne (Dane Nelson) at odds of 10-1.

The win by Rohan Kabir was the fifth in his career from 37 starts. For trainer Small it was his fourth for this year and it was number three for Harvey.
