KINGSTON, Jamaica – Apprentice Youville Pinnock sent foreigner Iamacitizen straight to the front in the Caymanas Saturday ninth – a four-year-old and upwards non-winners of three run over 7 ½ furlongs and the filly never relinquished that lead.
Pinnock and Iamacitizen trained by Patrick Lynch were challenged at the top of the straight by Versatile Vision (Dane Nelson) but the bay filly demonstrated his strength by moving even further away winning by 4 ¼ lengths.
Versatile Vision was second and Fearless Champion (Anthony Thomas) third.
This was the second win in a row for Iamacitizen.
