KINGSTON, Jamaica – Apprentice Samantha Fletcher riding as if her live depended on it pushed One Soo True to win the day’s eighth race just minutes ago at Caymanas Park.
Fletcher, looking sharp in the saddle took over from Roy Rogers in the straight, and still had enough strength to hold off the fast finishing first timer Raw Liquid with Dane Nelson atop.
Trained by Patrick Fong, One Soo True won at odds of 7-2 and clocked 1:01.2 for five furlongs round in a three-year-old maiden race.
It was Fletcher’s third winner for the year.
