KINGSTON, Jamaica – Apprentice Shavon Townsend rode his first winner of the year and his second overall when he easily brought home Okahumpka over the five-straight course in a five-year-old and up non-winners of two event just moments ago.
This was the third race of four races won by one of the apprentices on the 10-race-card currently in progress at Caymanas Park.
Okahumpka is trained by Errol Pottinger who was recording his first win for the year.
