KINGSTON, Jamaica – Co-champion jockey Anthony Thomas completed a double on the day when Dejae’s Boy won the Caymanas Wednesday eighth.
Thomas watched from behind (fifth) as Primal Fear as expected set the early splits before been circled by first Rum With Me (Javaniel Patterson) and when turning for home by Alexa’s Lodge (Dane Nelson). At this time Thomas had to wait for an opening which finally appeared with a furlong and a half left in the contest.
Thomas then got to work as Dejae’s Boy started to dissect horses and now rolling he soared by Rum With Me with Green Gold Rush finishing third with Omar Walker on board.
