KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was not much of a race as the 2-5 favourite Purple Wayne gobbled up all and sundry to win the Caymanas Sunday third.
Racing from off the pace set by Graydon (Romario Spencer) with Bimini (Chris Mamdeen) close by, Dane Nelson on Purple Wayne made his move entering the straight and from then it was over and done with.
Trained by Robert Pearson, Purple Wayne won by 5 ½ length with Night Light finishing third and Lazer Light third.
