KINGSTON, Jamaica – Trainer Richard Azan is enjoying one of his best days at the track having just landed a three-timer.
The Azan conditioned Si Me Now was the top of the lot among three-year-old maidens running a mile.
Ridden by Trevor ‘Slicer’ Simpson, Si Mi Now (Forest Danger – Quiet Giant) was slowly away but in a typical ‘Slicer’ ride’ was rushed down to challenge for the lead and then found extra in the straight to hold off the surge surge of Envisaged (Robert Halledeen) and 1-2 on favourite Sentinent.
The winning time for a mile was 1:41.4.
