KINGSTON, Jamaica – Fractious sort Balazo finally got the job done in the second race moments ago at Caymanas Park winning while travelling over five furlongs straight.
Ridden by Shane Ellis, Balazo claimed by trainer Gresford Smith flew on the outsider rails to catch and beat Zi Beast (Tevin Foster) with Forest Rose (Christopher Mamdeen) in third slot.
The winning time was 59.2 with recorded splits of 22.3 x 45.3.
