KINGSTON, Jamaica – Racing for the second time the imported American bred bay filly Lure of Lucy lived up to her 3-5 odds on billing with a cracking victory in the Caymanas Ash Wednesday tenth offering.

Ridden by co-champion jockey Anthony Thomas, Lure of Lucy, trained by Wayne DaCosta shot to the lead and although at first was taken on, the importee just kept going about her business in style and without any fuss.

In the straight she was drawing further and further away winning by ten lengths.

Billy Whizz (Omar Walker) was second and Regal and Royal third.

The win sealed a triple on the day for Thomas.
