KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was a case of double luck for apprentice Kiaman McGregor as he brought home another chance ride, Laws Of The Code for trainer Phillip Elliott in the just run seven race at Caymanas Park. The original rider set to be on Laws Of The Code was Reyan Lewis.
In the race before McGregor also replaced Lewis on the winner JamalJames.
Laws Of The Code won at odds of 2-1, with second going to Clearly Ours with Dane Dawkins aboard at 7-2 and third was the position of 36-1 outsider Nuclear Commander.
Interestingly, Dawkins replaced Anthony Thomas on Clearly Ours after the latter fell from his mount Pythagorus Theorem in the day’s fifth race.
