KINGSTON, Jamaica – Anthony Nunes extended his lead over Wayne DaCosta in the race for the trainers’ championship when his two-year-old Earn Your Stripes won the second race over seven furlongs moments ago at Caymanas Park.
Earn Your Stripes also allowed jockey Dick Cardenas to cut the lead in the jockeys’ championship held by Anthony Thomas to nine.
Earn Your Stripes won at odds of 1-5 and finished with a fast time of 1:25.3.
Second went to newcomer, Sentient (Dane Dawkins) at odds of 14-1 and third was taken by Rohan Kabir (Aaron Chatrie) at a 15-1 starting price.
