KINGSTON, Jamaica – Father Patrick stepping down in grade and running at a shorter distance than when last at the track produced a convincing run to win the finale on today’s Caymanas Saturday race card.
Ridden by apprentice Oshane Nugent for trainer Ian Parsard, Father Patrick waited for about a furlong before taking over and although persistently challenged in the straight by Legality and Eroy held his gallop firmly to win by 4 ½ lengths
Legality was second with El Profesor third.
The winning time was recorded at 1:24.2.
