KINGSTON, Jamaica – One of the undisputed classic characters at Caymanas Park, trainer Stanley “Dan Prag” Findlay broke a lean spell when apprentice Roger Hewitt brought home Rising Bop to victory in the mid-week sixth race – a Restricted Allowance for 4-year-olds and up – non-winners of 3 over nine furlongs and 25 yards.
Rising Bop won at odds of 2-1 with Blood Song second at 9-2 with the little used Hakeem Pottinger on board.
Third was Mirabilis (Dick Cardenas) going off at odds of 9-2.
The winning time was 2:01.2 and the winning margins three lengths by a neck.
