KINGSTON, Jamaica – Twelve horses are provisionally listed to participate in the The Viceroy Trophy which is scheduled to be run at Caymanas Park on Saturday next (October 24).
All of the 12 horses are trained by the top three trainers, Anthony Nunes, Wayne DaCosta and Gary Subratie.
Nunes has six of the runners entered, DaCosta three and Subratie three.
This year the The Viceroy Trophy will be run over one mile (eight furlongs) instead of the usual distance of nine furlongs.
Toona Cilita rated at the top horse in the land has been given top weight of 57.0 kgs
Getting closer to Toona Ciliata in the weights is the in-form and much improved Sentient who is set to carry 55.0 kgs.
