KINGSTON, Jamaica – In a close finish to the fourth race, the Spencer Chung trained Aaron Chatrie ridden Lord Ashton was declared the winner of the event after first by the post Nuclear Thunder (Omar Walker) was disqualified.

It was a tight finish involving the two (Nuclear Thunder and Lord Ashton) in the five straight Restricted Allowance IV – four-year old and up non-winners of three contest but it was obvious that when Walker switched his whip from the left hand to the right, Nuclear Thunder came over in the running lane of Lord Ashton to disturb his path.

The stewards immediately put up the inquiry sign and shortly after Chatrie lodged his objection.

Third was Miss Elaine with the final running time being 58.4 seconds, which was one-fifth of a second slower than the time posted in the higher Overnight level by Peking Cruz.

Trainer Chung was winning his 13th race for the year.
