SEEKING MY DREAM TRULY HONOURED IN TROPHY EVENT
Former Horse of the Year, Derby winner, and two-times winner of the Diamond Mile Seeking My Dream is well and truly honoured by the quality of the eight-horse field gathered to race for this trophy event. It has been a long time since racing fans have been blessed by such an assembly of the country’s top horses to include, I Am Fred, Runaway Algo, I’ve Got Magic, Excessive Force, and Further and Beyond.
DANE DAWKINS STILL DOWN
Leading jockey Dane Dawkins will not be in the saddle for the third consecutive race day.
NINE HORSES MAKE THEIR DEBUT
Nine horses will race for the first occasion on the day. Of this lot of nine, one is a four-year-old and the other eighth are three-year-olds. Of the eight three-year-olds, one is a foreigner and therefore must race in a three-year-old - non-winners of two. More details of the breeding of the newbies plus their connections will be the subject of a separate article.
