KINGSTON, Jamaica – There are two races specifically for three-year-olds on offer on the 10-race programme on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Caymanas Park.
The first is the seventh on the day for maidens going four furlongs with 14 horses entered.
THE QUICK GALLOPER’S assessment is published below as a guide for readers on this website.
– PRINT QUALITY is a bay gelding (March 5) by Casual Trick out of She Can Preach. Has not shown a lot in his eight career starts failing to be on the board even once. Print Quality’s best hope is for a minor share.
– TIGRAY EXPRESS is a bay colt (April 23) by Traditional out of Kiri. Tigray Express has finished second in his last two outings while giving a clear impression that he will prefer shorter trips. He might, however, be impaired by the number two draw in this big field. Expect Tigray Express to find a place in the top four. Note, that Tigray Express races with first-time Lasix.
– BLUE SKY is a chestnut filly (May 2) by Here Comes Ben out of Breezy. Has no reasonable chance of winning. Note, that Blue Sky races with the visor on.
– EDINA MARSH is a bay filly (April 25) by Buzz Nightmare out of Sheza Spy. Come in with no form with that trend expected to continue.
– OPHELIA’S MOM is a bay filly (March 5) by Casual Trick out of Mom’s Student. Said to be progressing in the mornings, and while expected to give an improved performance will not rattle the principals. Note, that Ophelia’s Mom races with the cheekpieces on.
– MICKEY C is a chestnut colt (April 11) by Savoy Stomp out of Miss Lee. Still on his learning curve.
– ADENOSINE is a chestnut colt (May 31) by Lion Tamer out of Winesha. Has disappointed thus far in his career, and no improvement will be forthcoming.
– MELMICH is a chestnut filly (February 13) by Sparrow Hawk out of Miss Polly. Has done nothing to recommend even a good effort in this one.
– THE PULSE is a bay filly (January 29) by Casual Trick out of Heart Beat. The Pulse signalled a show of some progress when finishing third at five furlongs round 48 days ago. With the distance shorter on Saturday, plus good reports at exercise, and a favourable draw, The Pulse can get off the mark.
– FRIENDOFTHEFAMILY is a grey gelding (April 27) by Here Comes Ben out of Win Bracelet. This gelding has no realistic chance of winning. Note, that Friendofthefamily races with the tongue tie and figure eight on.
– SHE’S ALL DAT is a chestnut filly (March 9) by Market Rally out of No Assembly Required . Said to be of ability that has not found its way to the track on race days. Yet, She’s All Dat will be sparring for a top-four finish.
– AMAD ALI is a chestnut colt (March 7) by Traditional out of Adina. Amad Ali is coming to come, and with Shane Ellis in the saddle will generate much interest on the tote board. Note, that Amad Ali races with the visor off.
– DREAM OF PARIS is a chestnut filly (April 29) by Silent Valor out of Kam To The World. Can be safely ruled out.
– THE GIFTED ONE is a bay colt (May 30) by Buzz Nightmare out of Venice Mellesa. Far from being considered a candidate for winning. Note, that The Gifted One races with the visor off, blinkers on, and first-time Lasix.
