KINGSTON, Jamaica – The ninth race on Saturday, September 24, 2002, is a three-year-old maiden special weight contest at a mile.
Nine three-year-olds are entered with THE QUICK GALLOPER analysis provided below for readers.
1 – TRADITIONAL LADY is a bay filly (April 19) by Traditional out of Always In The Mood trained by Patrick Lynch with Tevin Foster aboard. Traditional Lady has been consistent, regularly placing on the board in her 11 starts. She now tries a distance longer than seven furlongs for the first time. Traditional Lady will be hard pressed going this trip. Note, that Traditional Lady races with blinkers on.
2 – ANCHORMAN is a bay colt (February 27) by Soul Warrior out of Bitter End trained by Anthony Nunes with Carlos Blake aboard. Finished behind Don Vincenzo at 7 ½ furlongs two weeks ago. Anchorman best position is a place on the board. He is a good option for the exacta wager with Don Vincenzo.
3 – WHISKY is a bay colt (April 29) by Savoy Stomp out of Raise Your Voice trained by Richard Azan with Bebeto Harvey aboard. Finding his way in his two starts. Needs more time.
4 – DON VINCENZO is a bay colt (May 27) by Savoy Stomp out of Exotic Selection trained by Spencer Chung with Reyan Lewis aboard. This colt is gradually finding his way from his four starts. Don Vincenzo has been progressing well at exercise, especially after his close second-place finish behind Secret Emperor. On Saturday, Don Vincenzo is presented with his best chance of winning for the first time.
5 – STORM A COME is a bay colt (March 9) by Storm Craft out of Terra Marique trained by Patrick Lynch with Nicholas Hibbert aboard. Storm A Come is well experienced with 12 starts under his girth. His best position in this one is a top four finish.
6 – MICKEY C is a grey colt (April 11) by Savoy Stomp out of Miss Lee trained by Alford Brown with Oshane Nugent aboard. Needs time. Note, that Mickey C races with the blinkers off and the tongue tie on.
7 – WHO DONE IT is a bay colt (March 3) by Disturbin Di Peace trained Richard Phillipps with Jawani Forbes aboard. Still has a way to go. Note, that Who Done It races with the tongue tie on.
8 – GOD OF THUNDER is a chestnut colt (February 16) by Strikewhileitshot out of Lady Pabattie trained by Richard Phillipps with Phillip Parchment aboard. Needs time. Note, that God of Thunder races with the visor on, and the cheek pieces off.
9 – ASURETY is a chestnut gelding (March 9) by Perfect Curlin out of Sure To Cure trained by Edward Stanberry with Ricardo Duhaney aboard. Asurety has failed on numerous occasions and that trend will continue on Saturday. Note, that Asurety races with the tongue tie off and the figure 8 on.
