KINGSTON, Jamaica – Division Two of the maiden three-year-old call over five furlongs straight is the sixth event on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Caymanas Park.
THE QUICK GALLOPER’S assessment of the 11 horses declared to run can be read below.
1 – BABYLON WILL FALL is a chestnut filly (February 3) by Sensational Slam out of Karlie trained by Alford Brown with Youville Pinnock aboard. Note, Babylon Will Fall races with the visor on. This filly has been consistent in all her six starts to date. Babylon Will Fall’s only humbug is the number one draw.
2 – GIVEMETHELIGHT is a grey colt (March 9) by Nasheet out of Skipping Sue trained by Gary Griffiths with Nicholas Hibbert aboard. Slowly finding himself but a winning run is not expected.
3 – J J KING is a chestnut colt (March 26) by Urban King out of She Knows Best trained by Renex Burrell with Daniel Thompson aboard. Learning his trade.
4 – BLUE SKY is a chestnut filly (May 2) by Here Comes Ben out of Breezy trained by Michael Marlowe with Javaniel Patterson aboard. Note, Blue Sky races with first-time Lasix. Blue Sky is way behind these currently.
5 - STORM A COME is a bay colt (March 9) by Storm Craft out of Terra Marique trained by Patrick Lynch with Reyan Lewis aboard. Note, Storm A Come races with the figure 8 off. Storm A Come is getting closer and closer and with the figure 8 off, is expected to fight this one out.
6 – MANACO is a chestnut colt (April 9) by Lion Tamer out of The Golden One trained by Anthony Nunes with Tevin Foster aboard. After eight starts, Manaco tries five furlongs straight for the first time. This race provides another chance to get off the mark.
7 – POSING ALREADY is a bay colt (April 28) by Northern Giant out of Geisha’s Glory trained by Robert Pearson with Shavon Townsend doing the riding duties. This well-bred bay colt finished fourth on debut (92 days), and has been moving progressively in the mornings, and is set for another pleasing effort.
8 – PRINCESS SYLVIA is a chestnut filly (May 4) by Soul Warrior out of May Flower trained by Philip Feanny with Abigail Able aboard. Based on the reports from exercise, Princess Sylvia is one to watch, as her preparation coming into this debut run has been timely, plus she has shown enough in the mornings to evoke winning intentions.
9 – SQUEAK is a bay colt (March 17) by Perfect Curlin out of City Flight trained by Collin Blair with Anthony Allen aboard. Beyond his reach at this time.
10 – JUST MOVE IN is a bay filly (March 15) by Liquidity out of Thegirlnextdoor trained by Ray Phillips with Matthew Bennett. Can be left behind with any consequences. This bay filly needs more time.
11 – WHO DONEIT is a bay colt (March 3) by Disturbin Di Peace out of Rackam’s Mistress trained by Richard Phillipps with Rudolph Paige aboard. Note, Who Doneit race with the tongue tie-off. Cannot do anything right now.
