KINGSTON, Jamaica – Three – three-year-old races are to be decided on the 11-race card of Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Caymanas Park.
Two of those races are Division One and Two of a maiden contest for fillies.
The assessment below is of the ten starters in Division One to be contested over 5 1/2 furlongs.
1 – True Rylie is a bay filly (May 6) by Savoy Stomp out of Go Flint Go trained by Al Brown with Javaniel Patterson in the saddle. This first-timer will need more time to get going.
2 – Wowtastic is a bay filly (February 20) by Perfect Curlin out of Sarah Barracuda trained by Anthony Nunes with Robert Halledeen in the saddle. A newbie who clockers indicate has been making progress and has been well prepared for her first engagement. Hails from prime breeding stock and despite her small frame is poised to win on debut.
3 – Hidden Valley is a chestnut filly (March 28) by Soul Warrior out of Little Thunder trained by Richard Azan with Dane Dawkins in the saddle. Has been heavily backed in his last two runs but has failed to deliver. Hidden Valley is fighting fit and with moderate opposition has the opportunity of getting off the mark. Note, Hidden valley races with the figure eight off.
4 – Code of Conduct is a bay filly (February 3) by Midnight Hawk out of Amicable trained by Gresford Smith with Aaron Chatrie in the saddle. Started her three-race career well but has since lapsed. The reduction in the trip will suit Code of Conduct.
5 – North London is a bay filly (May 8) by Savoy Stomp out of Right Marker trained by Ryan Darby with Andre Martin in the saddle. Tried 7 ½ furlongs 14 days ago but weakened badly. With the trip now reduced, North London should be more comfortable.
6 – Blue Sky is a chestnut filly (May 2) by Here Comes Ben out of Breezy trained by Michael Marlowe with Ramon Nepare in the saddle. This filly has raced two times and has shown nothing of consequence. Note, Blue Sky races with visor and tongue tie off.
7 – Berlino’s Choice is a chestnut filly (February 22) by Berlino Di Tiger out of Mete-Orite trained by Anthony Nunes with Odeen Edwards in the saddle. Berlino’s Choice has raced eight times and has been close once. Should again find a way on the board.
8 – Precious P is a bay filly (February 23) by Casual Trick out of Twinkling Rose trained by Gordon Lewis with Shane Richardson on board. Three starts with Precious P still gaining experience.
9 – Edina March is a bay filly (April 25) by Buzz Nightmare out of Sheza A Spy trained by Donovan Plummer with Andre Powell in the saddle. Still has much to learn.
10 – Northern Lady is a bay filly (April 12) by Northern Giant out of Liquid Lady trained by Patrick Lynch with Youville Pinnock in the saddle. Has done nothing of significance to date.
