KINGSTON, Jamaica – Another in the continuous number of three-year-old maiden races will be run off tomorrow (Sunday, July 10, 2022) at Caymanas Park. The Sunday three-year-old maiden call has attracted 12 horses going six furlongs.
THE QUICK GALLOPER analyses the 12 declared to start in post-position order.
- YOU AND I is a dark bay filly (May 5) by Here Comes Ben out of Appassionata trained by Michael Marlowe with Prince Holder in the saddle. Has nothing to show from her two outings.
– JUSTIN BIDEN is a chestnut gelding (April 15) by Lion Tamer out of Wagon Wheel trained by Lawrence Freemantle with Shane Richardson in the saddle. Justin Biden has flattered to deceive many times and cannot be given a realistic chance of winning.
– KING AIR is a chestnut colt (March 14) by Midnight Hawk out of Mameta trained by Edward Stanbury with Dick Cardenas in the saddle. King Air is still learning his craft.
– NORTH LONDON is a bay filly (May 8) by Savoy Stomp out of Right Marker trained by Ryan Darby with Omar Walker in the saddle. Has been consistent especially in her last two outings, with another good effort expected from North London.
– EDINA MARSH is a bay filly (April 25) by Buzz Nightmare out of Sheza Spy trained by Donovan Plummer with Andre Powell in the saddle. Edina Marsh is way behind these currently. Note, Edina Marsh races with the visor on.
– TAPIT GOOD is a chestnut colt (April 14) bred in utero by Tapiture out of Forty Fifteen trained by Gary Subratie with Dane Dawkins in the saddle. Clockers in the mornings believe that this bred in utero colt has the potential of going far beyond the maiden rank. Trainer Subratie has taken his time with Tapit Good, who enters the fray well prepared.
– DEVONTE is a grey colt by Fearless Vision out of Eighteen Karat trained by Anthony Nunes with Tevin Foster in the saddle. Devonte has been around with nothing much to show from his exertions. Note, Devonte races with the figure eight on.
– DREAM OF PARIS is a chestnut filly (April 29) by Silent Valor Kam To The World trained by Edward Stanberry with Jordan Barrett in the saddle. Dream of Paris is still not removed from the dreaming phase. Note, Dream of Paris races with blinkers on and the figure eight off.
– LAST BID is a bay colt (May 4) by Soul Warrior out of Circle The Heart trained by Gary Griffiths with Reyan Lewis in the saddle. Last Bid has raced on two occasions and both times he has finished in second place. This colt continues to impress in the mornings and has nothing to fear. Expect Last Bid at a minimum to be part of the exacta.
– DUJOUR is a dark bay filly (March 21) by Force De Jour out of First Kiss trained by Roy Matthews with Anthony Thomas in the saddle. Dujour has been around but after 11 starts she is still finding it difficult.
– THE GIFTED ONE is a bay colt (May 30) by Buzz Nightmare out of Venice Mellesa trained by Phillip Lee with Chalrick Budhai in the saddle. Still needs time after one outing. Note, The Gifted One races with the cheekpieces and tongue tie on.
– WOWTASTIC is a bay filly (February 20) by Perfect Curlin out of Sarah Barracuda trained by Anthony Nunes with Shane Ellis in the saddle. Disappointed 14 days ago finishing in the ruck. Wowtastic gets another opportunity will the distance more favourable.
