3-YEAR-OLD: BABYLON EXPECTED TO RISE, KATHY, IS LURKING IN MAIDEN CALL

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The first of four races for three-year-olds is the second on the day (Saturday, November 5, 2022) at Caymanas Park.

The seven starters (fillies only) are analysed below by THE QUICK GALLOPER for this 5 ½ -furlong contest.

1 – COTTERWOOD CANDY is a grey filly (May 24) by Midnight Hawk out of Princess Shaniel. Came to life on (September 25) last when finishing second behind March And Shoot going six furlongs. Then Cotterwood Kathy lost ground in the final furlong, making the reduction in the trip right up her street.

2 – OOH SO LONG is a bay filly (May 27) by Force De Jour out of Oolong. Consistent filly in recent times with loads of experience (18 starts) in her hoofs. Ooh So Long will be there when this one is being decided.

3 – LADY BEN is a bay filly (January 9) by Here Comes Ben out of Lady Maragin. Coming to come, and maybe a spoiler.

4 – DANCING WITH THE CAT is a bay filly (April 23) by Emperor Hall out of Dancing Wizard. Has no chance of winning.

5 – TRUE RYLIE is a bay filly (May 6) by Savoy Stomp out of Go Flint Go. Note, True Rylie races with the tongue tie on. Slowly finding her way. A good bet for the exacta or the trifecta.

6 – ZION’S PRINCESS is a bay filly (April 25) by Midnight Hawk out of Lookatmenow. Will gain valuable experience.

7 – BABYLON WILL FALL is a chestnut filly (February 3) by Sensational Slam out of Karlie. Note, Babylon Will Fall races with the visor on. Was declared to race last weekend, then was declared as a late non-starter. Since then Babylon Will Fall has been seen regularly in the mornings, given the indication that she is fit and proper to race and be effective.
