KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jamaican trainer Rohan Crichton achieved the unique distinction of saddling three winners on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at three different race tracks.
Crichton won the second race at Caymanas Park with his five-year-old dark bay mare, Provocativa ridden by Raddesh Roman at eight furlongs.
At Tampa Bay Downs in Florida, Crichton saddled the winner of the first race – a US$8,000 claiming call on the dirt over six furlongs with Charlie Lightning. The jockey on board was Angel Arroyo.
Crichton’s third win on the day came in the seventh event at Gulfstream Park also in Florida with Fortuna Belle ridden by Edwin Gonzalez. That event was US$25,000 claiming call at 5 ½ furlongs.
