KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jockey Dick Cardenas is taking straight aim on the lead in the jockey’s championship held by Anthony Thomas.
Cardenas rode his third winner minutes ago in the sixth of 10 race races on offer at the Park today (Saturday, November 17, 2018) as he brought home the Carl Anderson owned and trained Friendly Neighbour to a come from behind win in a maiden event for three-year-old fillies over six furlongs.
Cardenas is now just seven behind Thomas as the race intensifies.
