KINGSTON, Jamaica – The 2023 racing calendar is officially out. As in 2022, 89 race days are scheduled with the year opening on January 2, and ending on December 30.
There will be two occasions, when three consecutive race days will be staged by the promoting company.
The scheduled for the five Classic races is listed below.
1000 Guineas – June 3
2000 Guineas – June 4
Jamaica St Leger – July 1
Jamaica Oaks – August 5
Jamaica Derby – August 7
Other major races are:
Jamaica Cup – November 11
Mouttet Mile – December 2
Jamaica Two-Year-Old Stakes – December 26
Ian Levy Trophy – December 30
