KINGSTON, Jamaica – Dane Nelson rode himself into the 1000th winning club when he piloted the Anthony Nunes trained Musketoon just moments ago to win the ninth race at Caymanas Park – a $250,000 - $210,000 claimer over six and a half furlongs.
Musketoon was the 3-5 favourite and the four-year-old gelding beat by seven lengths, Supreme Authority (Omar Simpson) who had 2 lengths to spare on Concur who was third. Supreme Authority went off at odds of 10-1 and Concur 6-1.
